CORK: A forgotten super natural product
Cork is one of the most efficient natural insulators in the world. It is composed of dead cells which are full with an air-like gas. This gas represents almost 90 per cent of cork which makes it so light and compact. The walls of these cells, which are like tiny watertight compartments, are mainly made up of suberin other substances that make it fire retardant, very flexible and practically rot-proof.

ReveCork is the perfect combination between modern ecological chemistry and ancient traditions. Cork has been used by humans for more than 3000 years and we can use it now to make our buildings more efficient and sustainable as we match XXI century ecological standards.
A Scientific research conducted at Instituto Catalán del corcho has proved that one single bottle cork helps fix 234 CO2 gm.
Each square meter of ReveCork coating equals around 260-520 bottle corks. As a result, we will be fixing between 60 and 120 CO2 kilos. In other words, we will be fixing the same pollution as 6-12 adult trees per year.
Example:
If we apply all the product in a ReveCork drum, we will be “planting” 96 adult trees.
If we apply 500 square meters of ReveCork, we will help fix the same CO2 as 3000-6000 trees.
