Smoothed cement floors became very popular decades ago and as a result, the same technique extended to other elements such as walls.
Although they are great for decoration, they create cold and poor acoustic efficient surfaces.
RTS Development Department has evolved traditional materials such as micro cement with a new concept of decoration for smoothed cement floors and walls, both indoors and outdoors. ReveCork MicroCork (thermal insulator) provides surfaces with thermal insulation properties both for cold and hot temperatures (-20% off power saving).
Besides, this solution provides elastic properties for walls which help prevent cracks. It is an excellent treatment for slippery floors and the elastic properties of cork on floors reduces knee and feet problems.
Moreover, we will increase the acoustic efficiency of our floors (reducing echo and annoying shoe tapping noises) and improve reverberation conditions on walls and floors.
But not only that, remember that ReveCork MicroCork is a green, sustainable product which reduces and fixes CO2 (each square meter coating fixes 120 CO2 kilos (technical certification available).

ReveCork MicroCork is a construction solution based on natural cork oak tree bark heart which comes from natural cork and cutting-edge acrylic resins that have been sealed with two-component acrylic polyurethanes. ReveCork Barniz Sellador Micro-Cork is the sealing treatment. Increase hardness and protect surfaces from scratches and other potential damage.

ReveCork Micro-Cork Terminación (final layer), is a cork and silica based mortar both for vertical and horizontal surfaces with stunning characteristics (thermal insulator, acoustic insulator, anti-condensation properties, saltpeter protection…) thanks to cork natural chemical composition.
Cork is composed of dead cells which are full with an air-like gas. This gas represents almost 90 per cent of cork which makes it so light and compact. The walls of these cells, which are like tiny watertight compartments, are mainly made up of suberin and other substances that make it fire retardant, very flexible and practically rot-proof.
